First Training Activities January 30, 2009

Day 1(1:30 pm to 5:00 pm)

Departure
The sechs group departed fro scholl at 10:00 pm and arrived at escalante proper at exactly 11:00. The group tool launch at escalante food court before the another travel going to Escalante National High School Extension. It took 30 to 45 minutes to travel going to the ENHS extension proper. At exactly 12:30 the seachs group arrived at Dr. Floro t. Bongco Mem. Extension High School. A few minutes before the start of session the group pepare thier selve on the topics prepared to discussed to the students.

The Arrival:
At exactly 1:00 pm we proced to the principals office to inform that we will start our session on that afternoon. The principal was on live so inbehalf of him we ask permission from the teacher incharge, to miss joy Carbaquel, teacher of the school. She allowed us to start the training. Then she introduce us to all fourth year student of the school.

The Session Start:
The team leader group the whole class into nine group for the introductory activity. All trainer prepare material to be used on the activity and the secretary of the group miss Lovina Pahuriray took the attendanceof the present students as well as the present trainer.
Each group would choose one team leaer for the activity and asked one by one if what are their expectations on the training.

Discussion of First Topic:
The assigned speaker for the first topic is Miss Rosita Matandag. she introduced all the possible topics to be discussed on that afternoon. The following are the topics;

• Introduction of computer
• Little history about computer
• uses of computer and how inportant it is in today's generation
• Parts of computer and its functions
• The components of computer
• The secondary storage and its functions
• How to assemble a PC The speaker impart all the knowledge and skills during the licture. There is an interaction between the speaker and the students through some questions. it is in the face of he students the interest to learn about the computer.

Hands on Activity: After the two and a half hour of discussion there hands on will be next.students are group into four group for the hands on activity, while the rest in the room was given a brain twister activity fort ehm to answer while waiting for their turn. Mr. Cris Buatita assisted by the garrido sister do the hands on activity. Cris introduce the parts of computer and its fumction. He guide students on how to assemble computer and how to turn on and turn off the computer. On that activity students were interested but nervous, because taht was the first time they would touch the mouse and other hardware parts of the computer.

End of the session: That was exactly 4:30 the hands on was over all students were exposed to computer. The group give overview on the next topic to be discussed on the next session. After that the seachs group say good bye to all fourth year student of ENHS extension.
